A former
Principle Research Scientist, now retired, Dr Scheibner’s interest in the
effects of vaccination began when she and her late husband, Leif Karlsson,
developed the Cotwatch breathing monitor for babies. Analysis of breathing
patterns (which naturally included before and after vaccination days) showed their breathing
was affected in a characteristic manner and for an extended period
following diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus (DPT) or other vaccine injections.
The
possibility that childhood vaccinations could be responsible for cot
deaths seemed so extraordinary that Dr Scheibner began a search through
the published scientific and medical literature to find out if this had
been reported. It has indeed been reported, very clearly, leading Japan to
discontinue vaccination of children under the age of 24 months, and Japan
and some other nations discontinued use of a number of vaccine
preparations.
Dr Scheibner collected and analysed over 30000 pages of
publications on vaccination. She found ample confirmation of the
vaccination-cot death link, evidence that vaccines are ineffective and
dangerous and that infectious diseases of childhood may be beneficial in
stimulating development of the immature immune system. Her review of the
scientific literature is now published in this book.
